Abstract

Abstract are invited for oral and poster presentations under the conference sub-themes. Abstract should not exceed 300 words with a maximum of six keywords.
Abstract should cover

Introduction – the context and purpose of the study;
Materials and Methods – how the study was performed, statistical analysis used;
Results – major findings and observations;
Conclusion and Recommendation(s) – concluding statements and potential implications with emphasis on new important aspect of the study.

Abstract Processing Fee

Until Saturday, 31st October, 2023

Five Hundred Naira (₦500) per abstract.

Between 1st November, 2023 and 17th February, 2024

One Thousand Naira (₦1,000) per abstract

Between 18th to 28th February, 2024

One Thousand Five Hundred Naira (₦1,500) per abstract

Abstract Submission

All abstract(s) must be accompanied with scanned copies of Bank Tellers showing payment of a non-refundable processing fee should be sent by e-mail to nspprsu2024@gmail.com.

Presentation

Oral presentations will be projected in each venue and should be submitted in MS PowerPoint format

Poster will be on display throughout the duration of the conference. Each poster should follow the IMRRAD format with only the essential information. Posters dimension should exactly be 120(L) x 100(B)cm with portrait orientation.

Author are required to come with their printed posters.

Presentation can only be made by fully registered participants.

Trade Exhibition

Agricultural Chemical Companies, Small and Medium Agro-Allied Enterprises, Farmers’ Cooperatives, Research Institutions, Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), State Agricultural Developmnet Projects (ADPs), Local Government, Agricultural-based NGOs, ets are invited to exhibit their products during the Conference.

The sum of Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000) for corporate bodies and Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000) for individuals must be paid into the designated conference account latest 10th March, 2024.

Full Paper

Full paper should follow the IMRAD format

Authors will be required to make appropriate corrections of their full-length manuscripts based on observations and comments made during their paper presentations at the conference and submit to the Editor-in-Chief of the Nigerian Journal of Plant Protection (NIPP)

Submission of Full Papers

Submission of full papers for peer review should be done within two weeks after the conference through nsppjournal@gmail.com. Submission should be accompanied with cover letter and evidence of payment of handling charges of Three Thousand Naira (₦3,000.00) for each manuscript payable to the Nigerian Journal of Plant Protection
